Pet Import/Export

Dr Erica Steppat can assist you in your requirement to take your pet overseas. She is an AQUIS certified Veterinarian.

To Begin the process first look at the aqis website. Click on the "Importing" or "Exporting" link and select the "ANIMEX" or "cats and dogs" link. Enter the country you are going to/from and whether you have a dog or a cat. Here you can find out what the reqirements are for that country.

You also need a 'Notice of Intention to Export'. This can be downloaded from the aqis website. This must be submitted no greater than 6 months and no more than 10 days prior to departure.
