Vaccinations

It is our recommendation that your pets come to to see us for a thorough health check every year.  Here we can keep an eye on your pets weight, check the ears, eyes, teeth, joints, skin, abdomen and heart for any signs of disease. As part of a thorough assessment of your pet’s health needs we recommend regular vaccination. Vaccination is essential to protect your pet from unnecessary suffering due to potentially fatal diseases. Also, all boarding and grooming establishments insist on up-to-date vaccinations.

DOGS

6-8 weeks C3 (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus = DHP)
10-12 weeks C5 (DHP + Intranasal Parainfluenza virus and Bordatella = Kennel Cough)
14-16 weeks C3

Then every year for Kennel Cough and every 3 years for C3.

Rabies and Leptospirosis vaccinations are also available upon for overseas travel.

CATS

6-8 weeks F3 (Herpesvirus, Calicivirus, Feline Enteritis Virus)
10-12 weeks F3
14-16 weeks F3

Then F3 boosters yearly.

Feline Leukaemia Virus, Feline Immunodeficiency Virus and Chlamydia vaccinations are also available.
